first, the product is loaded into a 10+ cubic foot bulk hopper. this large hopper controls the flow of product to the rest of the feeder.

second, the product is "fluidized" as it crosses a vibratory rail and moves onto the conveyor array. this begins the process of singulating, sorting and orientating the product while it is still in mass form.
